Why you can't rejoice your truth.
“Rejoice” is an intransitive verb. Intransitive verbs (like “sleep” or “die”) don’t have objects. It’s the same reason you can’t sleep your cat or die your mom.

I don’t understand why people don’t see the need to be critical of things around them. Criticism isn’t negative, necessarily. You shouldn’t just let the things around you - news, music, television shows, movies, politicians, your idols - pass you by without leveling a critical eye at them. Your ability to look at things critically makes you a participant in popular culture...
